Crisis situations in the environment are unexpected events that can affect even the most prepared organizations and companies. By developing preventive plans and standard operating protocols, the experts in charge of supervision and security of contaminated terrain form the base in implementing public health measures. The workshop will include potential health threats that result from the natural or anthropogenic disasters that can affect the environment and human health. The goal is to establish a link between the experts of various professions and organizations.
The workshop is primarily intended for the experts who are expected to be prepared and have high level of responsibility in case of a crisis situation in the environment: sanitary engineers, epidemiologists, health ecologists, biologists, engineers of environmental protection, chemists, ecologists, managers in healthcare, lawyers engaged in environmental and medical law, as well as scientists involved in environmental protection and sanitation.
The workshop is intended for the employees in public and government institutions (ministries, public health institutes, agencies, healthcare offices, crisis headquarters, utility companies, water utilities), employees of private companies (counselling, companies for disinfection, pest and rodent control, laboratories, etc.), and non-government sector (associations).
