International conference “Crisis Management Days – CM Days 2025”
The international conference “Crisis Management Days – CM Days 2025” takes place for the eighteenth time in a row and offers a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experiences and best practises between scientists, experts, organisations and stakeholders in the field of crisis management.
By following the trends in the national and international environment, this year we will ensure the best speakers and the exchange of theory and practise. We have expanded the thematic areas to emphasise the complexity of crisis situations, while continuing to focus on topics such as climate, security and management.
Climate change has evolved into a complex global threat that requires a comprehensive understanding and coordinated efforts at global, national and local levels. The aim of the conference is to share the latest findings, emphasise the importance of sustainable development for climate change adaptation and promote understanding of early warning systems to reduce the impact of crisis situations.
Renowned experts, academics and participants will provide an analysis of past crises, their causes, responses and recommendations, which can be identified as important themes in all research conducted as case studies. The development and implementation of crisis management strategies, discussions on best practises and methods to deal with crises are becoming a crucial segment of national policy, especially for national security.
The importance of effective communication in crisis situations is becoming increasingly apparent, particularly in the planning of communication strategies, transparency, public involvement and the role of the media in crisis situations. The application of innovation and technology in threat identification, risk assessment, crisis prediction and mitigation has become an indispensable factor in crisis management systems. The consideration of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, data analytics and information management tools is an important concern of this conference.
The official languages of the conference are Croatian and English.
We look forward to your participation and co-operation.
