Panel – Resilience of critical entities

On December 8, 2022, the Council of the European Union adopted the Directive for strengthening the resilience of critical entities. The protection of critical infrastructure as an area of importance for national security has been given a new dimension by this Directive, which aims to eliminate weak points and strengthen the resilience of critical entities. The adopted directive includes critical subjects in a number of sectors, such as energy, transport, health, drinking water, wastewater and space, and it also establishes rules for determining critical subjects of special European importance. How to adapt the existing legislative framework in the Republic of Croatia to the new Directive, what are the innovations compared to the Directive passed in 2008, and how to strengthen the resilience of critical entities in the Republic of Croatia, are just some of the issues that will be discussed on the panel.

Panel will be held on May 23, 2023. Working language of the panel is Croatian.
